Эдриан Скотт, указанный в титрах как продюсер, а также бывший соавтором сценария, стал одним из главных фигурантов «черного списка» Маккарти, и его место занял Стивен Эймз, крупный акционер фирмы «Technicolor», дебютант на продюсерской ниве, - впрочем, Лоуси прекрасно с ним поладил.
